Catch Between Games
Auntie’s team played two games on Saturday. Between the two games, they got about a half-hour break to eat and relax. Auntie brought her lunch over to us, and then saw that Rerun had his glove and a wiffle ball. Even though it was pretty windy, she tried to play a little catch with him.
Rerun was more concerned with how his shadow looked while he was “pitching” than he was with actually throwing the ball properly.
But at least he’s not afraid of the ball.
They did have to watch out for the spectators, though.
And maybe next time they play catch, it won’t be as windy.
