Rerun Sings

One of my favorite things about Rerun’s preschool is that he comes home singing old childhood classic songs.  On Monday, he came home singing “Shoo Fly, Don’t Bother Me” and it was just too adorable.

While the boys were outside playing with the bubbles, Rerun noticed that there are already many bugs flying around (thank you, very mild winter).  He started singing the “Shoo Fly” song, and I joined in.  He was impressed that I knew the words.

When I went inside to make the boys some lunch, I could hear him singing it loudly in the middle of the yard.  Apparently, the bugs were bothering him and he believed that if he sang it louder, the bugs would get the message.

I don’t think he had much success, but I got a good laugh out of it (Don’t worry, he didn’t see me laughing).
