Power On!!!

After nearly three full days without power, it FINALLY came back on late this morning!

Can’t say I’m that impressed with PUD management.  It appears that despite our calling in every day to report that we were still out, because some of the other neighbors around us had gotten their power back, it was assumed that our power in our cul-de-sac was back as well.

A neighbor of ours ran into two PUD line workers at breakfast at a local cafe, and told them that we were still out.  They asked for her address, and swung by the cul-de-sac not long after.

After having a look, they left.  But about 45 minutes later, our power came on!

And there was much rejoicing!  Though I have a sneaking suspicion that we could have had our power back a day sooner if customer service had been logging our calls appropriately.

I will be posting late in the afternoon tomorrow with the first day of school pictures!
