First Tooth Down!

(Interrupting the story of our vacation in Hawaii for just one post…)

Guess who just lost his first tooth??

Rerun came to me on Saturday morning and said, “Mom, my tooth hurts!”

I took a look and said, “Yeah… that’s because it’s LOOSE!  And the adult tooth is coming in right behind it!”

By Saturday night, I pulled an old trick Grandma taught me.

“I’m just going to take a look…” (whip out a square of gauze, and PULL)  “Oh look!  Your tooth is out!”

The tooth fairy paid Rerun his first visit, and he was quite excited to find a quarter in the morning to put in his Super Pig piggy bank.

And his gap-toothed grin is quite adorable.
