Flashback Friday

Ane is getting to have her friends over tonight for a birthday party.  As she gets older, she just wants to be more casual.  So tonight, as she’s done for the last few years, it will be pizza and a movie here at home.

Back in the day, her parties were a bigger deal.  For example, her 8th birthday party at American Girl.

Oh, my goodness.  This party is still fondly remembered by all the girls who attended it.  Mostly because Ane was the first one among her friends to have a birthday after the store opened.

*sigh* Tonight’s party will be cheaper, but I miss these days.
