Refuse To Abuse 5K 2018

This is probably the Webmaster and Ane’s favorite 5K of the year – the Refuse To Abuse 5K at Safeco Field.

Despite not doing any training leading up to this (though Ane has been plenty active, volunteering at swim camp as a helper), both of them turned in completely respectable times – Ane clocked in at 32:44 and placed 11th out of 33 in her division (F 13-19), and the Webmaster speedwalked his way to a 44:06 finish, and 73rd out of 117 in his division.

Ane has plans to run one more 5K before swim team practice begins, so we’ll see if she improves her time at the next race!
