Ane has been assigned to morning kindergarten!! *whew*
Because she’s supposed to be in the afternoon class, she can take the bus in the morning, but I will have to pick her up when her class is over each day. Still, with Tad taking the bus full-time to preschool this fall, I will only have to pick up Ane each afternoon – at the elementary school that is only a couple miles from our house.
It will be a nice change for us all. Still, my kids will be riding the bus! How did they get that big??
Ane starts school in two weeks – September 2nd. She’s very excited. We’ve started reading Ramona the Pest together, which she likes. After all, Laura and Mary never went to kindergarten. I thought it might be time to bring Ane forward at least a century in her reading material… but Ramona the Pest was published in 1968! Hmm… is it time for Junie B. Jones yet?

Little Cousin starts preschool on Friday and Baby Cousin’s first day of nursery school is Monday.

I can’t tell you how many times I have read Ramona aloud. It was one of my standards in my 20 years in the library.
Make sure she knows there are no presents!

No on Junie. She’s a total mouthy brat. Not recommended reading. Kids like it because she’s such a snot and gets away with it. Not that I’m opinionated or anything. LOL
So glad for you that she’s in morning K!!
