New Skills

Ane has been begging me to teach her how to cross-stitch for a while now.  We even had a starter kit purchased and opened… and that was about 9 months ago, I think.

We finally got started on it on Saturday.

She picked the kit – it’s a picture of a cupcake.  Of course.

The irony is, I have time to teach my daughter how to cross-stitch, but I can’t find time to finish any of my own stitching projects!  Maybe that will change when Thumper starts sleeping reliably through the night.  I’m beginning to think that he’s ready to start on solid food… but I know once we cross that bridge, there’s no going back.
