Teacher Appreciation
This is teacher appreciation week! I am currently working on the thank yous for Rerun’s teachers (I will be at his school for a meeting Thursday morning, so I can help deliver), and something for Thumper’s teachers, but Tad started off the week with roses for May Day.
This is his last year at his elementary school (*sob*), so we decided it would be nice to give a rose to every teacher he has had over the last 5 years. Between his special ed and general ed teachers, his paras that are still at the school, his speech therapist, the librarian, and the PE teacher, he had 14 roses to hand out. And then he gave one to his art teacher that evening.
He really enjoyed handing them out – and Teacher Appreciation Week got off to a “rosy” start!
